Gather for Good 2026
What an amazing night!
We cannot thank everyone enough for their presence and generous support at Alcovy CASA’s Gather for Good fundraiser. It was exhilarating to be in the room surrounded by people who genuinely believe in our mission. And the big reveal: The community came together to raise over $12,700 to advocate for children experiencing foster care!
At the event, we heard some children’s stories from their volunteer advocates. We heard how Janet showed up to ensure her kids succeeded in school. Trevor showed up to help his child learn to love reading. Tammy showed up to provide one consistent person in her child’s life. Carol showed up to help identify a relative who provided a forever family. Heather kept showing up even when her teenager pushed back. The funds raised at Gather for Good go directly to our mission of providing quality advocacy for children in Newton and Walton counties, so that every child has an advocate who will always show up for them. Together, we are making a lasting difference in children’s lives.
